Soak up the sun, but do it right!

Did you know that everything has an impact on your skin? There is a lot to consider for a better skin appearance - in the hectic everyday life this is not always easy. That's why SQIN wants to help you.

We all love it - the sun. It gives us light, warmth and makes us happy. With a summery tan, life feels much easier. But be careful: as good as the sun is for us, it can also harm us and our skin. The UV rays of sunlight can damage our skin and attack our connective tissue. The intensity of the UV rays in sunlight is particularly high in summer, but it should not be underestimated in winter either.

Even the daily dose of daylight has a large share in premature skin ageing. About 90 percent of visible signs of skin ageing are caused by UV radiation. Therefore, the key to preventing wrinkles is proper sun protection, every day, summer and winter.

Sunburn is also a negative effect of too little or the wrong sun protection. Even a slight reddening of the skin indicates that the maximum absorbable UV dose has already been exceeded. Sunburn is an acute skin inflammation and must be taken seriously. Because in the worst case scenario, those who are exposed to the sun too intensively and frequently are at risk of developing skin cancer.

But even with sunscreen, you should be careful not to be exposed to direct sunlight for longer than necessary.

The right protection from daylight and sun and the right care are important all year round. If you spend time in the sun, you need sun protection - no matter when, no matter where. If you protect yourself well from the UV rays, then nothing will stand in the way of a sunny afternoon anyway!
