Nothing sweetens the pre-Christmas season like biscuits.
And the best thing is to bake them yourself.
Another advantage is that you can decide for yourself what you want to sweeten your biscuits with.
Too much sugar has visible effects on the skin! For example, it can cause acne, irritation and inflammation and promote wrinkles.
So that you can snack without a guilty conscience this year, we have a nice alternative for you: sugar-free biscuits.
1st ingredients (enough for two trays): 150g spelt flour, 50g ground almonds, 50g hazelnuts, 50g coconut oil, 2 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder (without sugar), 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon (or e.g. gingerbread spice), 120g dates, 100ml hot water Pour the hot water over the dates and leave to soak for half an hour. Then mash the dates well with the water. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Melt the coconut oil and then leave to cool slightly. Preheat the oven to 170°C (top/bottom heat). Mix in the date puree and the melted coconut oil. Knead everything into a firm dough. Roll out the dough and cut out biscuits as desired. Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper. They can be a little tighter, as they do not rise very much. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. 10. your sugar-free Christmas biscuits are ready!
